P-EBT BENEFITS, SPOKANE FOOD POLICY COUNCIL SURVEY – AUGUST 21
P-EBT BENEFITS DEADLINE EXTENSION
The deadline to apply for Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) benefits has been extended until Friday, Sept. 11. P-EBT benefits help families most impacted by the COVID-19 crisis continue to have access to nutritious meals. P-EBT is available for students, including children of immigrant households, who were enrolled in a K-12 school that offered a school lunch program during the 2019-20 school year AND were eligible for free or reduced-price school meals; or attended a school where meals were free for all students.
To apply, click here or call 877–501–2233 (DSHS Customer Service Contact Center — interpreter services are available). For more information on P-EBT, click here (note that the deadline to apply has been extended from Aug. 31 to Sept. 11).

As one of the founding members of the Spokane Food Policy Council, Second Harvest hopes you will add your voice to future plans to reduce food insecurity and improve our regional food system. Your participation in the Spokane Food Policy Council’s survey will raise awareness of food system challenges and inform an action plan that encourages new opportunities for economic development, jobs and improved health for all residents of Spokane County. Your survey responses will be used to identify priorities for a sustainable regional food system.
The survey is anonymous and will take about 10 minutes to complete. Thank you for helping the Spokane Food Policy Council move forward with this important work. Your input is invaluable! To access the survey, click here – and please share with your friends. The deadline to participate is Aug. 26.
