EVENTS HAPPENING IN YOUR AREA.
The health and safety of partners, staff and the community are Second Harvest’s number-one priority. We have implemented the following procedures in response to the COVID-19 pandemic:
-
Social distancing among staff and volunteers at Second Harvest
-
Increased sanitization of high-touch surfaces throughout our facilities and fleet
-
Increased sanitization and glove use procedures for our Mobile Market volunteers
-
Activation of our business continuity plan and emergency response preparedness team
-
Reinforcing our sanitation standards by reminding volunteers to wash their hands with soap and hot water frequently and to change the gloves we provide as often as necessary
